Howland Takes Third at Rolling Wheels

Elbridge, NY – After a quick set of hot laps, Bryan Howland’s crew already had his car tuned in, and the team carried that into the heat race where Howland scored his first Heat win of the 2007 season and the high point man of the night.
Flyin’ Bryan Howland started in the 3rd position in the first of three ASCS Patriot Heat races at the Rolling Wheels Raceway. On the first lap, Howland fell back to fourth but quickly moved back up as Ray Preston spun his #22 in turn three while battling for the lead. Howland passed the 1z of Jessica Zemken in turns three and four on the high side and would use his momentum to suck up to the back bumper of Blake Breen’s #8. With a few laps to go, Howland sailed his car to the outside again, moving around the Breen for the lead and putting the #57 of Eileen Smith one lap down. His win and passing points gave Howland first pick in the Dash pill draw. He drew a 2.

Howland Scores a Fourth at Virginia Motor Speedway

Jamaica VA,- The weather forecast called for a sunny day and some hit-and-miss rain showers in the evening. They proved to make the right call just like Bryan Howland’s pit crew, but only a not so sunny heat race. “We struggled all day with our setups and finally made the right call for the feature. The track was nothing like I had ever raced on before so hitting the setup took a while, and with brief showers all night, it made the team second guess the setups we wanted to try.”
For the sunny hot lap session, Bryan claimed to be a little tight. On the other side of the spectrum, Howland’s teammate was one of the fastest cars there and could not “complain about the car.” The heat race displayed the same results. Howland was too tight at the exit of the corner and Hebing was right on the money.
